Inspect and clean gutters. If your home is surrounded by leafy greens, gutters should be inspected frequently until all leaves have fallen. If a clog is found, remove whatever is responsible to prevent damage to your home's foundation and to prevent potential seepage damage.
Check home's siding. Check the home's siding, masonry and roof for cracks, leaks, damage, and bird or squirrel nests. Repair any problems before they turn into larger problems later in the season.
Seasonal furniture. Clean and/or store your seasonal furniture. Give your outdoor furniture some TLC after it's provided entertainment over the summer months.
Examine the grounds. Check walkways for cracks and loose paver material. Fix any areas before slippery weather can cause a falling accident.
